Solid Stay with Excellent Breakfast

The breakfast WAS really good, particularly the perfectly cooked fried eggs. I found the room size larger than expected and it had views of the harbour. A BIG plus was the easy walk into town for dinner. I appreciated the receptionist, Mykilia. She was very cute and efficient.
I noticed the decor in the rooms looked a bit dated.

The location is ideal with a very convenient parking. My sea view room was clean and warm. The staff was very helpful with everything. I enjoyed the indoor pool early in the morning as it was quiet.
The shower had very little pressure, a small issue.

the bathroom lacked blinds. black mold grew around the bathroom and bedroom windows. the mixer tap malfunctioned, causing both the shower head and taps to run simultaneously.

i found convenient guest parking at the rear. the breakfast selection had many choices and tasted great. the front desk staff was helpful and friendly. the ground floor lounge was quite spacious and comfortable.
The steam room access incurred a small extra charge. I've not usually had to pay for that before.

the breakfast included a typical scottish selection. the hotel building has a gorgeous exterior. i found welcome chocolates in the room upon arrival. they had melted slightly because the room was warm when i first entered.
my shower had very little pressure.
